Morena endorse the principle of fair and equitable treatment of their employees, freedom of association and industrial peace. This is achieved through enlightened employment practices, full compliance with the labour legislation and participative management practices. Morena realize that the interests of the corporation, unions and employees differ but shall always endeavour to reconcile such differences in the best interests of the union and employees as well as the sustained growth of the corporation.Operational management, in consultation with the Human Resources department, deals with the day-to-day industrial relations issues.

The Human Resources department, in conjunction with Senior Operational Management, deals with disputes.  These practices ensure fair and consistent application of the policy throughout the corporation.In order to promote sound industrial relations and to keep management abreast of developments in labour legislation, ongoing industrial relations training is provided. All employees at induction are made aware of the contents of disciplinary procedures.
